hey, welcome to a bonus post. the normal cadence for these moving forward will be monday and wednesday, with the normal post coming friday. on monday i was at an event for the video game Split Fiction, and you'll be able to hear my thoughts on it tomorrow on the vgbees podcast.

we've had a bit of a rainy spell the last couple of weeks, which the region desperately has needed. it's meant that we've got a lot of clouds in the sky and when the sun sets we are treated to some beautiful cotton candy skies.

i really feel like the first bit of rain we got this year, which was a couple of weeks after the fires, was really a reset for the year. la's flavor of petrichor is so unique that i revel in every opportunity i have to experience it.
